The Bluetooth within the Odyssey system has been tested and proven to work up to 20 metres in a direct line of sight.
This distance will vary depending upon circumstances and interference such as:
- The wall of a caravan.
- The transmission between the caravan and the tow vehicle.
- Construction methods.
- Placement of the product.
- The Bluetooth receiver of your device (including phones, tablets, smartwatches, etc).
- The environment.
Up to 8 total SmartConnect devices can be connected to the Odyssey system at once.
You can connect up to:
- 4 SmartPressure sensors.
- 2 SmartTemp sensors.
- 2 SmartSense sensors.

Great speedy delivery no trouble at all.
The original one fitted to my caravan failed when the battery shit itself – luckily there was no fire, but could have been…. The battery blew up to twice its size and destroyed the unit.
Given only a BMPro sourced touch pad will work, we are vendor locked and it’s a rip off!
I only bought one as I had to – would never do this again as the system isn’t able to be altered on site so my system isn’t that great.
There are better battery management systems out there, so choose carefully……
