BatteryCheck100 is compatible with  a range of standard 12V deep cycle batteries. It provides real time battery management data that allows users to effectively monitor remaining battery energy via a simple to use app.

Specially designed for recreational vehicles’ deep cycle batteries, BatteryCheck100 allows monitoring up to 100A maximum charge or discharge. BatteryCheck100 is not suitable with engine cranking applications of any type and is not intended for under vehicle bonnet use.

Battery parameters monitored are:

  • Voltage and Temperature
  • Charge/Discharge Current
  • State of Charge (SoC)
  • State of Health (SoH)
  • Estimated Discharge Time Remaining

The BatteryCheck100 is designed for deep cycle batteries (also known as ‘house’ batteries) and as such should not be used on a starter battery.

The BatteryCheck100 is only designed to connect to the BatteryCheck app on a smartphone, and not connect to external battery monitors.

The BatteryCheck100 is only compatible with lead acid batteries.

The BatteryCheckPRO is compatible with both lead acid batteries and lithium LiFePO4 batteries.

    I installed this on the house batteries on my boat. The batteries were new and located in the engine room. To be honest it was a bit hit and miss as to whether the unit would connect to my smart phone. Even when I upgraded my phone the performance didn’t improve. I suspected that it might be the foil lined insulation in the engine room that was causing a drop off in signal but even when I held my phone next to the unit in the engine room, it was still hit and miss as to whether it would connect. When it did connect, it worked really well. I re-installed it several times but got the same results. If I laid down on the floor of the galley I seemed to get a better hit rate, but I have now sold the boat so it’s the new owner’s problem (Yes I did disclose the issue to the new owner and showed him where to lay down) I now have a lithium enerdrive BMS on my new off-road caravan so I don’t need the BMPro system but if I did, I think I would give it another go as the units seem really well made but I’d keep my receipt just in case!

    Battery Won’t connect to the app
    Phone connects to the unit open the app add the battery and it sits on a black screen, running on latest iOS ona iPhone 11 ☹️

    I’ve upgraded from a $30 Bluetooth battery monitor that worked better and gave me more data than this over prized battery monitor. It won’t show my battery fully charged and it doesn’t give enough information via the app. The app is basic has 1 amp reading but doesn’t tell you if it’s amps in or amps out I would like to think the app is the problem and a new app would resolve the problem but I’m not convinced that would be the case. I’ve got the bmpro 100
